As of March 15, 2020 at 01:25 GMT, there have been 2836 confirmed cases (up 25% from yesterday) and 57 deaths due to coronavirus COVID-19 in the United States.

California: Number of infected San Jose firefighters doubles

Four more San Jose firefighters have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total to eight, the city said in a report Friday.

The city said it is also tracking the status of 46 sworn personnel who may have been exposed to the respiratory disease.
